TECHNICAL SALES AND SERVICE COLUMBIA, SC
MetaLube, an emerging leader in industrial specialty fluids, is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Representative to join our Sales team. This position will be based from the Columbia, South Carolina area. The selected individual will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic professional capable of identifying, executing and converting sales opportunities for MetaLube.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve annual sales goals and objectives for assigned territory
• Sell required number of new accounts by promoting and prospecting within assigned territory
• Perform all functions of position while maintaining spending within assigned expense budget
• Maintain and/or increase current account business by establishing adequate call frequency to service accounts
• Develop and maintain a full knowledge and understanding of the competition, their activities and strategies
• Communicate territory needs and opportunities to the appropriate managers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (business or technical discipline preferred)
• Previous sales experience in Metalworking or Metal Finishing industries preferred
• Professional image and high level of integrity
• Personal Drive to succeed
• Make cold calls to prospective customers
• Ability to travel overnight as necessary
• Demonstrate planning, interpersonal and presentation skills necessary
• Proven track record of delivering sales and new accounts preferred
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office
