PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Our Metella line of high performance semi-synthetic metalworking fluids are formulated for medium to heavy duty machining of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. The superior performance of this product line can be traced to technological advancements in emulsifier and lubricant technologies. Metella metalworking fluids provide exceptional resistance to biological growth and are extremely low foaming. These products are intended for use in today’s high pressure, high volume coolant delivery systems.
This product line delivers exceptional boundary lubrication and extreme pressure properties for machining a wide variety of metals. We offer Metella chemistries that are free from chlorine, phosphorus, and sulfur. All Metella products have been carefully balanced with appropriate levels of reserve alkalinity to extend sump life, and enhance ferrous and non-ferrous corrosion protection. These formulations typically reduce the occurence of skin irritation and have earned wide operator acceptance because of their clean operation. Upon dilution, Metella coolants form stable translucent emulsions that protects machines and workpieces without leaving tacky residues.
